Beautiful Savior Lutheran Early Learning Center strives to help each child grow and learn to their individual potential. Each classroom develops activities that are developmentally appropriate for the age group in the classroom incorporating lots and lots of play to help them explore and experience the world around them. Because Beautiful Savior is a play based program, each child learns their academic skills through games, dramatic play, circle times, story times, hands on activities and social interactions. Most importantly each child learns and grows in the love our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Infants– The infant room is set up to allow for lots of tummy time, crawling, and toddling. Many toys are available to enrich the sensory needs of each child. Each infant remains on their own individual eating and sleeping schedule.
Toddlers– The toddler room is set up to allow for plenty of play and exploration as they learn to become more confident in their walking and social interactions. Academic concepts are introduced through art, finger plays, and play. Potty training is accomplished on an individual basis using techniques agreed upon by both parent and teacher.
Preschool– The Preschool room is set up to allow for plenty of play and exploration as they learn to work beside and with others in the classroom. Academic concepts and skills are introduced through circle time games, learning centers, stories, and music. Science, literacy, math, art, and large motor play are incorporated in daily activities.
Pre-Kindergarten– The Pre-Kindergarten room is set up to allow for plenty of play and exploration as they learn skills and concepts that will prepare them for Kindergarten. Science, literacy, math, art, writing and large motor play are incorporated in daily activities.
Each classroom follows the One In Christ Curriculum where they are taught God’s everlasting love for them. They will learn about various Bible stories that help them to become better citizens by learning to forgive and love the way God does.
This fall each class will learn about the wonderful world that God made. They will also learn how they were uniquely created by God and about families. As we move into Autumn they will learn about harvesting and fall leaves.
